Cardiac Telemetry Registered Nurse

Cedars-Sinai is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Telemetry team in the 5North unit. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to patients with coronary observation, medical telemetry, and step-down conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct and indirect patient care services, ensuring the safety, comfort, and personal hygiene of patients.
- Administer medications and therapeutic agents to implement treatment, disease prevention, or rehabilitative plans of care.
- Perform skin tests, immunizations, phlebotomy, and initiate peripheral venous access as needed.
- Observe and assess signs and symptoms of illness, reactions to medications/treatments, general behavior, and physical condition to determine normal versus abnormal characteristics.
- Plan and implement individualized patient care based on observations, and initiate emergency procedures when indicated.
- Implement appropriate reporting, referrals, and care in accordance with standardized procedures while providing care to special patient populations and patients with diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a BSN or higher preferred.
- Current California State RN License required.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
- Specialty Certification (external applicants may acquire within one year of hire).
- Minimum 3 years recent acute RN experience in specialty.
