- CA Harassment Prevention Training Certificate (2 year update)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Telemetry and Medical-Surgical nursing required.
- Flexibility to float to other Med Surg and Telemetry units as needed.
- Open to first-time travelers.
- Must possess the ability to interpret cardiac strips.
- Experience in a med-surg and telemetry environment with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5.
- At least 3 years of nursing experience is mandatory.
- References should reflect a level 4-5 rating.
- Competencies must align with medical-surgical and telemetry patient care needs, rated 3 or higher.
- Capability to work effectively in a Telemetry setting.
- Required skills in Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response.
- Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias.
- Experience with telemetry monitoring, both on-site and remotely.
- Essential cardiovascular skills including post-cardiac angiogram and post-myocardial infarction care.
- Proficient in IV Therapy and Phlebotomy, including blood product administration and central line management.
- Knowledge of medication protocols, including Heparin and management of cardiac and vasoactive drips.
- Experience in respiratory care for chronic/long-term ventilated patients and management of chest tubes.
- Average patient census: 36.
- Room capacity: 36 beds.
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5.
- Every other weekend coverage is required.
- No on-call duty.
- Scrubs: Royal Blue.
- Patient demographic: Adolescents to Geriatrics.
- RTO (Requested Time Off) must be included in the submission.
- No RTO during the first two weeks of assignment.
- Once RTO is submitted, changes are not permitted unless canceling the requested time.
- Government-issued photo ID.
- Emergency Contact Form.
- Willingness to float to other Med Surg and Telemetry units.
- Open to first-time travelers.
