Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced E&S Commercial Property Claims Specialist to enhance our Property Claims Unit. This role involves delivering expert claims management for our E&S Commercial Property sector.

As a key player in a collaborative work environment, this position necessitates in-person engagement for team meetings, mediations, and other essential activities. Building strong, respectful relationships is fundamental to our culture, achieved through meaningful in-person interactions.

This role operates under a hybrid work model, requiring three days in the office each week.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively manage Property Claims related to Property and Binding Authority Underwriting policies.
  • Keep reinsurers informed of claim developments to facilitate their exposure evaluations.
  • Provide detailed reporting to the Unit Leader and/or Senior Management, including recommendations on reserving and action plans.
  • Independently assess claim exposures within designated financial authority.
  • Participate in business-related events, including team meetings and mediations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in property claims.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in property claims, with significant expertise in E&S commercial property claims.
  • Technical proficiency in claims management and a thorough understanding of coverage and policy language.
  • Adjuster's license is mandatory.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
  • Proficient in providing outstanding internal and external customer service.
  • Familiarity with specialized claims handling, policy interpretation, damage assessment, and investigation principles.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
