Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Personnel Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for administering Personnel Security Clearances for Intelligence Community programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and process security clearance actions, including initial investigations and periodic reinvestigations.
  • Coordinate security clearance actions between individuals, program management offices, and customer teams.
  • Schedule indoctrination appointments and coordinate indoctrination and debriefing requests.
  • Reconcile personnel security files, records, and access lists.
  • Prepare reports and recommendations on the status of clearance processing.
  • Support the security team by managing records of annual self-inspections, security refresher training, and close-out information.
  • Assist in preparing and coordinating badge requests and other personnel security documents.
  • Attend required technical and security training relative to assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Must possess a TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Poly.
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in the Intelligence Community, specifically related to Personnel Security, Visits, and Badging.
  • Ability to rapidly respond to multiple tasks with short turnaround time, using sound judgment while maintaining good working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to build rapport, interact professionally, and foster a cooperative work environment with a diverse population of people.
  • Ability to protect and maintain confidentiality of personal and corporate sensitive information.
  • Results-oriented and desire/ability to quickly learn systems and procedures.
  • Ability to communicate professionally in both written and verbal communications and maintain a strict attention to detail.
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • Experience using Access Commander or related security management system.

  • Experience using Government clearance databases, including e-QIP, DISS JVS, NBIS e-APP, and Scattered Castles.
