About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Marketing Coordinator to join our team at HDR. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for leading project pursuit teams, managing pursuit processes, and developing marketing strategies to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project pursuit teams and manage pursuit processes to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of marketing materials
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to support business development efforts
  • Conduct pursuit capture planning and proposal coordination meetings with technical teams
  • Conceptualize, research, and produce marketing materials, proposals, promotions, and presentations
  • Manage and produce virtual interviews and develop procedures and processes for identification, screening, and selection of pursuits
  • Develop and coordinate graphics, write and edit layout materials, and provide storyboarding and message development for proposals
  • Be responsible for timely production and quality of marketing deliverables and communications
  • Coordinate professional association events, including developing conference concepts, promotions, and artwork
  • Monitor client and industry websites for solicitation status and file pursuit materials upon submittal in accordance with HDR guidelines
  • Support management of client relationship management and financial systems to inform reporting metrics and dashboards
  • Maintain accurate project and resume data in business development systems and administer the implementation of the go/no-go decision process in accordance with HDR's Matrix of Authority
  • Support creation of marketing collateral to support business development efforts and train and mentor employees on business development and marketing best practices
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, English, Journalism, or related field
  • A minimum of 5 years proposal marketing experience, preferably in A/E/C
  • Strong computer skills, creative/graphic design skills, and use of other media in marketing proposals, presentations, and related collateral materials
  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively with diverse teams, as well as area, regional, and national technical managers and project staff
  • Requires little or no direction in a specialization
  • Must exhibit proficient technical computer skills, advanced knowledge of communication theory, and basic layout and design principles
  • Deep knowledge of the A/E/C industry's standard approach to procurement of professional services
  • Ability and desire to travel and engage with others in-person
  • Highly articulate, have a clear and analytical approach to problem-solving, and good decision-making abilities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, English, Journalism, or related field
