Position Summary
Grunt Style is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to enhance our customer experience. This part-time role involves engaging with customers, processing transactions, organizing merchandise, and ensuring a welcoming shopping atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers as they enter the store.
- Deliver an outstanding customer experience by informing them about promotions, new products, and sales opportunities.
- Foster a positive shopping environment that encourages purchases.
- Manage multiple tasks while being attentive to customer needs and adapting to business demands.
- Assist customers directly and provide necessary support.
- Drive sales through customer engagement, suggestive selling, and in-depth product knowledge.
- Exhibit enthusiasm and knowledge about all Grunt Style merchandise.
- Collaborate with team members to meet sales objectives.
- Assist in organizing shipments, back stock, and restocking efforts.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and expectations.
- Handle transactions, returns, and exchanges using the point of sale system.
- Report to and take direction from the assigned supervisor.
- Team-oriented mindset.
- Creative problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Self-motivated and results-driven.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Veteran status preferred.
This role is set in a dynamic and fast-paced retail environment. Flexibility in scheduling is essential to meet the needs of the business.
Physical Requirements
The position requires continuous movement, communication, and standing for extended periods. Occasional bending, kneeling, and climbing may be necessary.
