Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Social Worker to join our Neurodevelopmental Disorder Track team at the Brooklyn Mental Health Court. As a key member of our team, you will provide comprehensive case management services to clients diagnosed with neurodevelopmental disorders and serious mental illnesses.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinically informed case management services to clients with neurodevelopmental disorders and serious mental illnesses
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial evaluations and assessments
  • Establish working relationships with relevant agencies and community partners
  • Manage and monitor participant compliance with court mandates
  • Provide clinical recommendations to the court for mandated services and treatment
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information in electronic databases and paper files
  • Participate in staff meetings, in-service trainings, and site visits
Requirements
  • LMSW required; minimum of 2 years prior work in criminal justice and/or a related field
  • Experience working with people diagnosed with neurodevelopmental disorders and navigating OPWDD
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse client populations and collaborate with on-site partner agencies and court personnel
What We Offer

The Center for Justice Innovation offers a competitive salary range of $57,500 - $73,500, commensurate with experience. We also provide an excellent benefits package, including comprehensive healthcare, free basic dental coverage, vision insurance, and a 403(b) retirement plan with a two-to-one employer contribution up to 5%.
