Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Social Worker to join our team. As a Social Worker, you will provide clinical and therapeutic services to youth in a residential placement environment and their families. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure timely community re-entry, permanency, safety, and well-being for each youth assigned to your caseload.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct social work intake assessments and develop psychosocial profiles for youth and families.
  • Collaborate with case planners to prepare and submit court reports and develop discharge plans.
  • Provide individual, group, and family counseling using evidence-based models, including TF-CBT.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary treatment teams and contribute to the development of treatment plans.
  • Act as a liaison with Division of Youth and Family Justice (DYFJ) of ACS, family court, and community agencies.
  • Facilitate community re-entry and arrange for wrap-around services as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to prioritize permanency planning and develop concurrent plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic and paper-based case records.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Social Work and licensure (LMSW) required.
  • Clinical experience working with youth and families, including crisis management.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels and possess excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Demonstrated competence in prioritization, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high degree of self-initiative.
  • Excellent crisis intervention, advocacy, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
