About the Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified HCC Coder to join our team at To Help Everyone Health & Wellness Centers in South Los Angeles. As a vital member of our coding department, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate coding and compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Audit medical records for accurate documentation of diagnoses
  • Assign codes to medical records using ICD-10 for Medicare Risk Adjustments/Medicare Advantage
  • Recommend processes for accurate coding practices
  • Report coding discrepancies to the Coding Project Manager

Requirements:

  • CPC or CCS certification required
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in coding, preferably multi-specialty and outpatient/clinic billing
  • Physician billing office supervisory experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of Hierarchical Condition Categories (HCC) concepts and MACRA reporting
  • High School degree required; some college preferred

Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 per year
