Clinical Documentation Analyst Position Available

MedPOINT Management is a leading healthcare management company seeking a skilled Clinical Documentation Analyst to join our team. As a Clinical Documentation Analyst, you will play a critical role in improving the quality and accuracy of clinical documentation at our client sites.

Job Responsibilities:
* Review and analyze clinical documentation to identify areas for improvement.
* Work closely with providers and clinic administrators to develop and implement strategies for improving documentation quality.
* Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Provide education and training to staff on accurate documentation practices.

Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in finance/business, medical records technology, health services administration, nursing or other ancillary medical area.
* Certification in one of the following: Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) and three or more years of coding experience.
* Strong written and oral communication skills.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs; primarily Word and Excel 2013 or higher.
* Demonstrated expertise with CPT, ICD-10-CM, medical anatomy and terminology in assigning accurate diagnosis coding.
* Sound knowledge of medical coding/billing guidelines and regulations including compliance and reimbursement.
