Job Summary

Hills & Dales Child Development Center is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality services to children with autism and autism spectrum disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Administer and implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs and services as directed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  2. Collaborate with children, family members, colleagues, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and community partners to promote a supportive and inclusive environment.
  4. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in ABA and related fields.
  5. Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment that fosters open communication and teamwork.

Requirements:

  1. Must be free from any conviction or prior employment history of child or resident abuse or dependent adult abuse.
  2. Must pass certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) within one year of hire.
  3. Prefer three months of experience in a clinical setting, with a focus on treating children with autism or autism spectrum disorder.
  4. Prefer knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and practices.
  5. Must have a general working knowledge of computers and department-specific software.
