Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mixology Expert to join our team at Chihuly Garden and Glass. As a key member of our beverage team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Exceptional Service: Create a memorable experience for our guests by providing refined guest service skills and exceeding their expectations.
  • Knowledge of Food and Beverage: Exhibit complete knowledge of food, beverage, and services offered by Chihuly Garden and Glass.
  • Follow Service Standards: Follow Steps of Service and Timing Guidelines, maintain a proper mixology etiquette, and approach all guests with a positive and courteous attitude.
  • Prepare and Maintain Bar Areas: Prepare garnishes, syrups, tinctures, and batches in preparation for the upcoming shift and as needed for future shifts. Label and date all items that are prepared.
  • Ensure Guest Satisfaction: Ensure all guest-facing areas are guest-ready prior to service, and ensure food and beverages are served at the proper temperature with correct presentation.
  • Maintain a Clean and Organized Environment: Organize, clean, and maintain all storage in the mobile bar and areas in the BOH where bar and beverage supplies/products are stored.
  • Work Well in a Team-Based Environment: Work well in a team-based environment and maintain a professional demeanor.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of three years of bartending experience in a high-volume, full-service environment.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Extensive knowledge of food and beverage, including wine and food pairing and suggestive selling techniques. Excellent grooming and communication skills necessary. Requires the ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Certifications: A valid Washington State Class 12 or Class 13 Alcohol Service Permit, and a valid Washington State Food Handler's Permit.
