Our client, a global leader in the food and beverage industry, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be part of the Product Development Department supporting the Innovation and Renovation Team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization

Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Location: Seattle, WA

Pay Range: $ 20-23/hr (W2 Contract)

What's the Job?

  • Product Development Support: Perform kitchen and bench-top tasks related to the development of Coffee and Coffee-based beverages.
  • Sample Preparation: Prepare samples and conduct powder mixology for product tastings and evaluations.
  • Stock Management: Manage inventory, ensuring proper storage and organization of materials and ingredients.
  • Collaborative Testing: Work closely with technicians, specialists, and product developers to carry out trials and tests.
  • Safety Compliance: Execute operations in accordance with Good Manufacturing and Laboratory Practices, ensuring safety and quality.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of laboratory experience, preferably in the food industry.
  • Strong understanding of laboratory techniques and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis software.
