Position Summary
The Maintenance Associate plays a crucial role in upholding the cleanliness and operational readiness of the facilities. Reporting to the Director of Maintenance and the Maintenance Supervisor, this position is responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment, ensuring that all areas are prepared for use and that the needs of members and staff are met efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular and specialized cleaning tasks throughout the facility.
- Utilize and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including vacuums and mops.
- Conduct daily inspections to ensure safety and cleanliness across all areas.
- Assist in setting up spaces for meetings and events as required.
- Engage in outdoor maintenance activities, including debris removal.
- Respond to custodial emergencies as they arise.
- Support minor landscaping and groundskeeping efforts.
- Facilitate traffic flow in parking areas when necessary.
- Exhibit a high level of courtesy and service excellence towards all individuals.
- Embrace and promote the mission and values of the organization.
- Collaborate effectively with team members.
- Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.
- Work independently with minimal oversight.
- Typical schedule includes Friday through Tuesday, with evening shifts.
- Compensation ranges from $17 to $18.50 per hour.
