Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new mortgage loan applications while maintaining existing relationships within builder communities.
  • Conduct regular sales outreach to cultivate new business opportunities.
  • Meet the monthly production targets set by management.
  • Evaluate loan applications and supporting documents to advise borrowers on suitable loan products.
  • Communicate the risks and benefits associated with each loan program to borrowers effectively.
  • Assist borrowers with lock options and ensure timely loan locks.
  • Stay informed and comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Act as the primary liaison throughout the loan process.
  • Participate in builder sales meetings to educate on various loan products.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Possession of a current NMLS license.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in mortgage origination, with experience in builder partnerships being advantageous.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of mortgage products and the ability to navigate complex financial concepts.
  • Proven sales and marketing skills in the mortgage sector, with the ability to present and promote products professionally.
  • Capacity to adapt quickly to market changes.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external partners.
