Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Description

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nuclear medicine technology and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and other medications to patients
  • Process data and enhance digital images using advanced computer technology
  • Provide images, data analysis, and patient information for diagnostic interpretation or therapeutic procedures
  • Evaluate images to determine technical quality and calibration of instrumentation
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations and accepted practice guidelines
  • Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner
  • Work effectively to maintain a safe work environment for both staff and customers, incorporating national patient safety initiatives
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school for Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • Eighteen months of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting
  • Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology
