Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work with our team in Alexandria, Louisiana. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the administration of radioactive materials and the operation of nuclear medicine equipment.
Responsibilities- Administer radioactive materials to patients for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes
- Operate nuclear medicine equipment, such as gamma cameras and positron emission tomography (PET) scanners
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
- Conduct quality control checks on equipment and supplies
