About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Float Pool team at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. As a Super Float Pool Registered Nurse, you will provide care to a variety of patients throughout our Hospital, including those in ICU, Step-Down, MS, OSS, and Neuro Trauma units.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager/Director of the department to which the RN is assigned for his or her shift.
  • Perform therapeutic and administrative services necessary for the care of the patient, and in support of the mission of Overland Park Regional Medical Center.
  • Provide care for acutely ill patients in units as determined by the Float Pool agreement.
Requirements
  • Graduate of school of nursing required. BSN preferred.
  • Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation.
  • BLS required upon hire. ACLS required within 2 months of hire. TNCC and PALS required within 6 months of hire.
  • Must have five (5) years critical care experience in the areas of ICU, PACU, and/or ER.
