Critical Care Nurse

As a Critical Care Nurse at Overland Park Regional Medical Center, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our 25-bed Level 2 Trauma Center. Our ICU team works collaboratively to provide comprehensive care to medical, surgical, neuro, cardiac, and trauma patients.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and provide patient care under the direction of the Director or Manager.
- Assume individual responsibility and accountability for the provision of nursing care.
- Provide care for newborn/pediatric patients, adolescent patients, adult patients, and geriatric patients.
- Adapt to changing acuity and census, and be flexible with assignments.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. BSN preferred.
- Current Kansas RN licensure required.
- Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license.
- Current BCLS certification required.
- ACLS certification required within 3-6 months of hire.
- Excellent interpersonal skills required.
- Minimum one year RN experience on a Medical Surgical Unit or Telemetry.
