Job Title: Controls Engineer

Veregy LLC is seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer to join our team. As a Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing building automation systems to reduce energy consumption and increase facility-wide energy efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with and manage building automation service contracts and service projects by managing customer requests, implementing corrective actions, supervising subcontractors, ordering material, and managing budgets.
  • Assist clients and project teams with design, programming, and commissioning of building automation systems.
  • Write and optimize building automation control sequences to reduce energy consumption and increase facility efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot low-voltage circuitry in the field and verify functional requirements are met.
  • Respond to and rectify customer issues or occupant comfort complaints in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering – Mechanical, Electrical, or Software.
  • 1-3 years of experience in building automation system design and implementation.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Detail-oriented multi-tasker.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and diplomatic communication skills.
  • Strong collaborative skills; ability to collaborate with other engineers to methodically solve complex problems.
  • Outgoing, energetic self-starter.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products and experience with at least one CAD or 3D modeling software.
