Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing behavior intervention plans for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify behavioral needs and develop individualized treatment plans based on data collection and analysis.
- Implement Behavioral Therapy Techniques: Implement behavioral therapy techniques in various settings, ensuring adherence to best practices and promoting effective interventions.
- Collaborate with Families and Professionals: Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to promote effective interventions and ensure seamless care coordination.
- Document Client Progress: Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of client progress, including regular updates on treatment plans and outcomes.
- Provide Training and Support: Provide training and support to staff on behavioral strategies and interventions, ensuring they have the necessary skills to deliver high-quality care.
- Evaluate Treatment Plans: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans, making adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Advocate for Clients: Advocate for clients with special needs, ensuring they receive appropriate resources and support to meet their unique needs.
Qualifications
- Board Certification: Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required, along with a Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Knowledge of ABA Principles: Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis principles and techniques is essential for success in this role.
- Experience Working with Special Needs: Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or special education needs is preferred, but not required.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Proficiency in data collection methods and analysis for tracking client progress is necessary for evaluating treatment effectiveness.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
