Position Overview:

In this position, you will oversee daily work practices on field projects and inform management of any observed or anticipated labor-related issues. You will assist in developing staffing strategies, conducting wage trend analyses, and creating training and orientation programs for craft personnel. Your role will be pivotal in fostering positive workplace relationships through effective communication and adherence to labor regulations. Regular travel to various project sites will be an integral part of this position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the creation of internal labor studies and other Industrial Relations documentation, utilizing both online resources and third-party research.
  • Conduct research and compile statistical data on topics such as productivity, workforce availability, and industry trends.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new craft professional employees, guiding them through hiring procedures.
  • Assist in Recruitment, Training, Investigations, and other tasks as directed by the Industrial Relations Manager.
  • Analyze labor market reports and prepare wage bulletins or trend studies.
  • Contribute to the development of labor surveys for projects, incorporating supply and demand data and competitive project insights.
  • Help prepare wage bulletins for project estimations and gather data from government resources regarding wage regulations and benefits.
  • Participate in meetings and discussions regarding immediate or anticipated industrial relations needs.
  • Travel to project locations throughout the United States to support Industrial Relations initiatives.
  • Engage in additional special projects as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements:

A university degree with 1-2 years of relevant experience or 5-6 years of applicable work experience is required.

Essential Knowledge and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Labor Relations, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Global Business Management, Organizational Development, Psychology, Social Studies, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship, now or in the future.
  • Ability to work effectively in both office and field environments.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred.
