Position Overview

Job Title: Warehouse Associate

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Reports To: Branch Manager

Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Branch Manager, the Warehouse Associate is tasked with overseeing all elements of shipping and receiving, as well as executing general warehouse upkeep and deliveries. This role does not include formal supervisory duties.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage all facets of warehouse operations, including inventory management, shipping, and receiving.
  • Guarantee precise and prompt processing of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Prepare backorders for customer collection or delivery.
  • Assist in resolving warranty and product-related issues.
  • Load and unload transport vehicles.
  • Develop and implement cost-effective strategies to enhance warehouse productivity.
  • Maintain a tidy and secure working environment.
  • Support sales efforts as necessary.
  • Carry out other assigned tasks.

Customer Service Duties:

  • Guide customers in product selection and troubleshooting.
  • Efficiently process orders and returns.
  • Exhibit a professional and courteous attitude.
  • Address customer complaints in a timely manner.

General Duties:

  • Stay informed about products and inventory levels.
  • Keep accurate records.
  • Represent the company at various events.

Qualifications:

A High School Diploma or G.E.D is required, along with a minimum of two years of experience in HVAC/R.

Experience in wholesale HVAC/R or a related field is preferred.
