About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Cook to join our team at Go Get Em Tiger, a growing coffee retail and roasting company. As a Pastry Cook, you will be responsible for creating delicious house-made pastries and treats for our cafes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare ingredients, mix doughs and batters, and perform daily bake offs of house-made pastry.
  • Work with fresh, seasonal ingredients delivered daily to our cafes.
  • Contribute to other aspects of commissary operations as necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy kitchen and carry out daily task lists with efficiency.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a high-volume, quality-driven pastry/baking environment.
  • Solid baking skills, knife skills, and overall kitchen proficiency.
  • Ability to follow written recipes and perform basic math.
  • Availability for early morning shifts and weekends.
  • CA Food Handlers Certification or willingness to attain within 30 days of hire.
