Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Holy Cross Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for evaluating and diagnosing speech, language, and communication disorders in patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in patients.
- Develop and implement effective treatment programs to address patient needs.
- Provide counseling to patients and their families about test results and recommended treatment options.
- Establish patient understanding, expectations, and goals for treatment.
- Document patient visits and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff and outside agencies to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Refer patients to medical specialists as needed.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current Speech Language Pathologist License in the State of New Mexico.
- Current CPR certification.
- 1 year of clinical experience in Speech Language Pathology, preferably in an acute care facility and/or outpatient therapy setting.
