Speech Language Pathologist Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Taos, New Mexico. As a Speech Language Pathologist with Soliant Health, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and treating individuals with communication and swallowing disorders.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet each patient's needs and goals
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients' speech, language, cognition, and swallowing abilities
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and caregivers to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes
  • Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers regarding communication strategies and swallowing safety measures
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility to obtain CCC
  • New Mexico state licensure or eligibility for licensure
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred but not required
  • IEP experience preferred
  • Experience with AAC devices
