Position Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a polished appearance and adhere to our uniform standards.
  • Ensure all preparation tasks are completed prior to service in accordance with our established procedures.
  • Assist fellow team members in setting up the bar area and preparing for service.
  • Deliver an outstanding dining experience by engaging with guests and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Prepare and serve cocktails and other beverages efficiently.
  • Support the team in cleaning and organizing service areas post-shift.
  • Verify guest identification to ensure compliance with legal drinking age regulations.
  • Adhere to all food and beverage safety standards.
Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following:

  • Extensive knowledge of spirits, wines, and food pairings.
  • Valid Food Handlers Card.
  • Registered with ABC and possess a Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certificate.
  • Proficiency in the primary language used in the workplace.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Basic math skills and familiarity with using a calculator.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making skills.
  • Understanding of restaurant operations and service protocols.
  • Experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant setting is advantageous.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
