Engineering Development Program Overview

At Travelers Insurance, we are committed to innovation and collaboration. Our Engineering Development Program (EDP) is a one-year program designed to grow and develop your technical and self-leadership skills.

Program Tracks

We offer four designated Engineering tracks: Software, Data, Cybersecurity, and Infrastructure & Cloud. Each track is designed to provide a combination of hands-on opportunities, an immersive learning journey, and a mentoring program to prepare you for a dynamic career.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement automated and software-defined solutions
  • Support critical platforms and services, including incident triage and service restoration
  • Derive value from data about our infrastructure, focusing on monitoring and application resiliency
Requirements

We are looking for self-starters with a strong track record of exploring new technologies and applications. You should have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater and 3 years or less of technology-related experience. Exposure to object-oriented programming and a suggested major in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Information Systems are also preferred.
