Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain contact with the Controller, accounting team, and company associates while observing utmost confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting and support the overall financial operations of the company.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on property management or real estate accounting preferred.
  • Strong understanding of property management accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of fair housing laws and property management regulations is a plus.
