Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounting records for multiple properties through financial statements preparation.
- Maintain contact with the Controller, accounting team, and company associates while observing utmost confidentiality and professionalism.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and support the overall financial operations of the company.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on property management or real estate accounting preferred.
- Strong understanding of property management accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of fair housing laws and property management regulations is a plus.
