Job Summary

Community College System of New Hampshire seeks a skilled Financial Analyst to support strategic planning, budget management, and managerial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with annual budget preparation, forecasts, and long-range financial planning.
  • Develop and maintain financial models for operational and academic departments.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for budget development and management.
  • Collaborate with institutional leadership, faculty, and staff to gather relevant information for financial analysis.
  • Support quarterly financial reporting, including variance analysis and management reporting.
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports as needed.
  • Evaluate special project submissions to determine viability.
  • Develop and standardize policies and procedures to ensure compliance with CCSNH policies and regulations.
  • Improve financial processes and systems to meet operational needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university.
  • Four years' experience in finance, accounting, or a related field, with direct experience in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Valid Driver's License or access to statewide transportation.
  • Thorough knowledge of GAAP accounting principles, budget planning, and financial analysis.
  • Ability to compile, analyze, interpret, report, and present financial data.
