Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate café equipment, including coffee machines, blenders, and ovens, to prepare a variety of beverages and food items.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, greeting customers and responding to their needs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized café environment, adhering to local, state, and federal sanitation guidelines.
  • Stock and merchandise café supplies, maintaining a visually appealing and well-organized display.
  • Assist with cash handling and balancing, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the bookstore team to provide a seamless customer experience.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to learn and operate multiple café machines.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills and cash handling experience.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, twist, crouch, or reach while performing daily activities.
  • Ability to lift/push objects up to 15 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 25 lbs. on a periodic basis with or without assistance.
