Key Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Accountant:

  • Execute 75% cost accounting and 25% general ledger accounting duties.
  • Oversee fixed and variable overhead allocation across various manufacturing sites.
  • Manage accounting for a large assortment of SKUs and products.
  • Establish and uphold cost accounting systems and procedures.
  • Evaluate manufacturing costs and generate regular reports comparing standard costs to actual production expenses.
  • Assist in month-end closing, prepare journal entries, and perform account reconciliations.
  • Aid in the preparation of financial statements and other financial documents.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to deliver financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting policies and regulations.
  • Engage in special projects and process enhancement initiatives as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • Demonstrated experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing context.
  • Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
