Job Title: CT Technologist

University Health is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team in Medical Imaging. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) scanners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with supervisors and lead technologists to ensure efficient patient flow and staff coverage.
  • Procure, utilize, and steward technical, physical, and human resources effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with patient care quality standards for patients of all ages.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities and contribute to Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives.
  • Perform diagnostic x-ray procedures as a regular part of duties at assigned locations.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from an AMA Radiologic Technology Program.
  • Registered in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and board certified in a specialty.
  • Performance of diagnostic x-ray procedures as a regular part of duties at assigned locations.
  • Adaptability and effective communication with patients and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and lift up to 50 lbs to assist and move patients.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year CT tech experience in an acute setting.
  • BCLS certification (obtained within 90 days of hire) and ACLS certification (preferred).
