We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to join our team at HCA MidAmerica Health. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Job Summary:

The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing routine and specialized imaging procedures using computerized tomography (CT) scanners. You will work closely with our radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive accurate and timely diagnoses.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist and position patients on the CT table
  • Start IVs for contrast injection and when necessary
  • Assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary
  • Release patients with proper post-procedure instructions
  • Turn over and prepare rooms using aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipment
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or degree in Radiology Technology
  • Registered Computerized Tomography Technician (CT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
  • BCLS required within 30 days of hire
  • Two years of experience preferred with additional training in CT scanning
  • On-call required and must have the ability to report to the facility within 30 minutes of call-back
