CT Technologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team at Centerpoint Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and specialized imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) scanners.
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures.
  • Assess image quality and make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal results.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including positioning and instructing them on how to hold still.
  • Turn over and prepare rooms using aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipment.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or degree in Radiology Technology.
  • Registered Computerized Tomography Technician (CT) certification within 1 year of employment start date.
  • Two years of experience preferred with additional training in CT scanning.
