About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Funding Specialist to join our team at Acura in Wichita, a part of the Wichita Auto Campus owned by the Walser Automotive Group. As a Funding Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dealership's funding processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with sales staff to resolve contract, funding, and titling issues
  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of non-public documents and client information
  • Locate and verify trade titling, ensure proper signatures, and lien release information
  • Support the Customer Service and Accounting teams with printing and reviewing documents
  • Collect and review lender stipulations, ensure Rebate, Contracts, Due bill, VSC, and related schedules are up-to-date in CDK
  • Manage contracts in transit to ensure proper cash flow and review each car deal for missing or incomplete paperwork
  • Prepare and submit contracts to the bank for payment, ensuring all deals are compliant with Walser standards
  • Schedule intake calls from banks, relay messages of missing items, short payoffs, and other critical information
  • Ensure key track is running, add employees to key track, and manage multiple tasks in Drive Centric
  • Perform OEM audits, create deal jackets, stickers, key tags, and mail plates and tabs
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced customer-focused business
  • Previous experience in a support function with the ability to meet timelines and deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • A great attitude, team player, and collaborator
