Retail Associate

As a Maintenance Associate at Sam's Club, you will play a vital role in ensuring a safe and clean environment for members and associates. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain the facility's cleanliness and safety standards, including sweeping, cleaning, and disposing of waste. You will also be responsible for responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and maintaining appropriate levels of Company-approved chemicals and supplies.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain safety of Facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines
Clean all areas of the Facility, including floors, windows, restrooms, and trash receptacles
Ensure a safe and clean environment for Members and Associates by performing maintenance as necessary
Respond to spills and operate floor scrubbers
Maintain appropriate levels of Company-approved chemicals and supplies
What You'll Do:
As a Maintenance Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and clean environment for members and associates. You will work closely with the facilities team to maintain the facility's cleanliness and safety standards. You will also be responsible for responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and maintaining appropriate levels of Company-approved chemicals and supplies.

Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Working Conditions:
As a Maintenance Associate, you will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes in priorities and tasks. You will be required to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds. You will also be required to work in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and humidity.
Additional Information:
The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
