Job Summary

This is a National Guard Title 32 Excepted Service Position.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Security Forces Specialist. As a member of the Air National Guard Units, you will play a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of our installations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enforce security regulations and policies to protect personnel, equipment, and resources.
  • Conduct patrols and respond to alarms, irregularities, and suspicious circumstances.
  • Apprehend and detain violators of laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Provide security support for dignitaries and special events.
  • Operate and maintain security equipment, including sensors and surveillance systems.
  • Participate in training and exercises to maintain proficiency and update skills.
Requirements
  • National Guard membership is required.
  • Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform.
  • Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment.
  • Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation.
  • Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.
Qualifications
  • Military Grades: E-6
  • General Experience: A National Guard Title 32 Dual Status applicant must have a validated understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the occupational series and grade.
  • Specialized Experience: Should have knowledge of practical security force activities in direct support of the military weapon systems and physical security; law and order; or area security operations.
