Job Title: Junior Level Security Specialist

At Armada, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Level Security Specialist to join our team. This role will support the administration of Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) security.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily support to the Special Security Representative (SSR) or Government SAP Security officer (GSSO) to implement enhanced security policies and procedures.
  • Perform Visitor Control duties, including greeting and documenting visitors, monitoring and controlling access to facilities and restricted areas, and maintaining visitor logs.
  • Prepare and process visit request documentation packages, perform visitor escort duties, and support the coordination and training of additional escorts.
  • Support document control and document configuration management activities, data entry and maintenance of security databases, and personnel access request/access nomination processing.
  • Support the classification, handling, transport, and destruction of classified/sensitive information, and the creation of Standard Operating Procedures, Facility Check In - Check Out procedures, and other applicable security documentation.
  • Provide classified meeting support, including coordination, facility preparation, attendee clearance validation, and presentation material classification validation.
  • Support program access list preparation and maintenance, and the generation and maintenance of program security documentation.
  • Support self-inspection activities, including checklist preparation, media control and inventory functions, and the processing, inventory, and control of COMSEC.
  • Support the performance of physical security inspections, the preparation of document and performance of indoctrination and debriefings, and foreign travel tracking and monitoring.
  • Support facility security management duties, including key/control management, facility security inspections and assessments, alarm response, and maintaining Intrusion Detection System and other facility security systems operability.
  • Support the preparation and submission of all required TEMPEST documentation, and maintain DISS accounts to perform all personnel security functions.
Requirements:
  • At least two (2) years of recent and relevant experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must obtain Security Fundamental Professional Certification (SFPC) within 1 (one) year of employment and maintain certification for the duration of employment.
