Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee operations across multiple facilities while adhering to budgetary constraints.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to develop annual work plans that align with the organization's long-term goals.
- Lead and mentor a team of four managers responsible for various functions including Animal Care, Behavior Assessment, Client Services, and Law Enforcement.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement through data-driven decision-making.
Engagement and Communication:
- Actively engage with stakeholders to gather insights and experiences, fostering a culture of kindness and curiosity.
- Address performance issues through transparent communication, providing support for team development.
Problem Solving and Innovation:
- Anticipate operational trends and collaborate with managers to develop strategic plans.
- Encourage a proactive approach to identifying challenges and piloting innovative solutions.
- Adapt best practices from other organizations to meet local needs effectively.
Adaptability and Resilience:
- Develop emergency response plans and train staff for various potential crises.

Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
- High school diploma or equivalent; advanced education preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years in senior leadership roles, with at least 3 years in animal care or nonprofit management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with animal sheltering databases and data analysis.
- Current euthanasia technician certification or willingness to obtain within six months of hire.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
Physical and Working Conditions:
- Must be capable of operating large vehicles and handling heavy equipment.
- Ability to work in environments with high noise levels and potential animal interactions.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Annual salary range of $80,000 to $110,000, with potential relocation assistance.
