Hardware Engineer Internship Opportunity at Microsoft

Come and be part of a dynamic team at Microsoft, where you can explore your passions and do your best work. As a Hardware Engineer Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects in collaboration with teams across the world.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the creation of robust, scalable, secure, and extensible designs and/or verification plans for the hardware engineering aspects of well-defined products or features.
  • Read device specification sheets and interpret common details required to design and test various hardware features.
  • Ensure that test requirements are included in documentation and specifications for a feature or product.
  • Obtain input from functional experts regarding opportunities to affect downstream execution of projects by resolving issues and executing design tradeoffs within scope.
Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Must have at least one additional quarter/semester of school remaining following the completion of the internship.

The base pay range for this internship is USD $5,460 - $10,680 per month. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation. Microsoft accepts applications and processes offers for these roles on an ongoing basis.
