Hardware Engineer Internship Opportunity

At Microsoft, we're committed to empowering every person and organization on the planet to achieve more. As a Hardware Engineer Intern, you'll play a critical role in designing, developing, and evaluating components used in electronic devices that involve mechanical systems and equipment.
Responsibilities- Assist in the creation of robust, scalable, secure, and extensible designs and/or verification plans for the hardware engineering aspects of well-defined products or features.
- Read device specification sheets and interpret common details required to design and test various hardware features.
- Ensure that test requirements are included in documentation and specifications for a feature or product.
- Obtain input from functional experts regarding opportunities to affect downstream execution of projects by resolving issues and executing design tradeoffs within scope.
- Results-driven with a strong attention to detail and technical problem-solving skills.
- Strategically and creatively innovate ways to communicate and visualize user experiences.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Must have at least one additional quarter/semester of school remaining following the completion of the internship.
- The base pay range for this internship is USD $5,460 - $10,680 per month. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $7,040 - $11,640 per month.
