Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

At SP+, we are driven by Our Promise, "Making Every Moment Matter for a World on the Go." As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Direct and manage routine cleaning, maintenance, and repair activities, including power washing, slurring, striping, sweeping, and commercial painting.
  • Manage day-to-day activities of assigned projects, supervising maintenance crews to ensure completion of daily, weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance and cleaning projects.
  • Assist with management duties, including scheduling, monitoring, and checking of timecards.
  • Supervise the completion of ongoing and future projects.
  • Implement effective safety procedures and monitor their effectiveness.
  • Report any known accidents, safety hazards, or suspected violations of Company policy to the General Manager, Maintenance Services.
  • Assist with cleanup of debris, water, oil spills, and other hazards.
  • Conduct regular facility and equipment inspections to ensure they are in good maintenance condition.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental standards and corporate governance.
  • Lead programs to improve client and customer satisfaction.
  • Perform other necessary functions as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School Graduate; some college a plus.
  • Intermediate computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  • Thorough knowledge of all areas of maintenance.
  • Ability to perform general repair, electrical, mechanical, and cleaning maintenance.
  • Desire a minimum of six months worth of experience in the service industry (maintenance industry preferred), but not required.
  • Special consideration given to those candidates with a diverse maintenance background.
  • Experience with driving light construction equipment preferred.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be proactive with strong problem-solving skills and proven customer service skills.
  • Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule.
  • Must possess a valid state-issued driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record.
