Role Summary and Qualifications

Responsibilities in this role include:

· The Radiology Intervention Specialist will be tasked with circulating and physiologically monitoring patients during procedures.

· Conducts sterile scrub procedures for both diagnostic and interventional operations, including vascular and neuroendovascular procedures, as well as other physician-guided invasive interventions.

· This position reports directly to the Interventional Radiology supervisor.

· After-hours coverage will be required for urgent vascular and neurovascular procedures.

· This role involves collaboration with multiple Radiologists and Neurovascular Surgeons.

Required Qualifications:

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

· ARRT certification within 6 months of hire.

· SCRQSA certification within 6 months of hire.

· BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Education:

· Graduate of an AMA accredited Radiologic Technology program and ARRT.

Experience:

· Prior experience in Neurovascular and General Interventional procedures is required.

Special Skills:

· A strong understanding of endovascular and neuroendovascular devices is essential. Critical thinking skills and high performance in acute settings are necessary for success.
