The Interventional Radiology Technologist plays a vital role in the healthcare team at Summerville Medical Center, providing exceptional patient care and technical expertise in diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Circulate and physiologically monitor patients during procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Perform sterile scrub procedures for diagnostic and interventional procedures, including vascular and neuroendovascular procedures.
- Collaborate with multiple Radiologists and Neurovascular Surgeons to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple procedures simultaneously.
- ARRT certification within 6 months of hire.
- SCRQSA certification within 6 months of hire.
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology and ARRT.
- Experience in Neurovascular and General Interventional procedures required.
- Excellent understanding of endovascular and neuroendovascular devices, critical thinking skills, and high performance in acute settings are essential.
