Position Overview:
We are seeking a Client Manager to enhance our Property & Casualty division. The ideal candidate will excel in a collaborative environment, possess strong interpersonal communication skills, and have a genuine enthusiasm for learning.

Key Responsibilities:
The primary objective of this role is to assess the needs and risks of current clients, aid in the development of tailored insurance programs, and fortify client relationships by delivering technical expertise in a professional and timely manner. This position involves:

  • Understanding client business operations and effectively communicating their needs to the appropriate insurance carriers.
  • Supporting the sales team in marketing new and renewal property/casualty insurance programs, aligned with established agency goals.
  • Utilizing advanced skills and insurance knowledge to design and implement insurance solutions.

Client Service Duties:
Responsibilities include managing complex accounts, providing exceptional customer service, and acting as a reliable partner to clients. Specific tasks involve:

  • Monitoring renewal timelines to ensure timely processing.
  • Reviewing existing insurance coverage and assessing future client needs.
  • Evaluating and recommending insurance options.
  • Responding promptly to client inquiries and maintaining awareness of service issues.
  • Facilitating proactive communication with clients to address concerns and explore service enhancement opportunities.

Account Administration:
Responsibilities include:

  • Taking ownership of client accounts and attending relevant meetings.
  • Preparing renewal reviews and ensuring accurate invoicing.
  • Maintaining precise client information and documentation.

Technical Duties:
Involves managing complex insurance plans and interpreting policy provisions to ensure appropriate coverage.

Marketing and Sales Duties:
Engagement in the sales process for new and renewal accounts, identifying opportunities for additional insurance lines, and collaborating with underwriters to develop effective marketing strategies.

Team Collaboration:
Coordinating client service responsibilities with team members, fostering positive relationships, and participating in knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Advanced knowledge of property casualty coverages.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Experience with insurance industry practices and agency management systems.

Education and Experience:
A high school diploma is required; a college degree is preferred. An active state-specific Property Casualty Insurance agent's license is required or must be obtained within three months of hire. A minimum of 5 years of experience in customer service, underwriting, or risk management within the insurance sector is necessary.
