We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Cook to join our team at Chautauqua Hotel Co. Inc.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is $16.00/Hour, with the potential to earn up to $18.00/Hour based on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare food and drink items to order for guests using established recipes and standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and adhere to food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage
  • Clean and sanitize food surfaces, NCO throughout the shift and at the end of the shift
  • Perform inventory checks throughout the shift and at the end of the shift, communicating specific needs to management
  • Assist in training new team members
  • Collaborate as a positive team player, demonstrating dependability and punctuality
About the Schedule

Typically work an eight-hour shift with varying start times between 5am to 5pm. Schedules may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.

Benefits

Chautauqua Institution offers flexible schedules, full and part-time opportunities for seasonal employment during summer operations starting annually each June and concluding in August. Employees will receive a traditional Chautauqua gate pass, providing access to various programs at the Amphitheater.
