We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Gastroenterology team at Memorial Healthcare System. As a Pediatric RN, you will provide direct patient care to children with gastrointestinal disorders, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized patient care to children with gastrointestinal disorders, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity of care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring patient responses and adjusting care plans as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure informed decision-making and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices that enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the State of Florida.
- One year of experience in pediatric nursing, preferably in a gastroenterology setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Working Conditions:
This position requires the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to children with gastrointestinal disorders. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team-based setting, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities while maintaining a high level of patient care and safety.
