Position Overview:

As a Territory Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for promoting and selling large home appliances within a retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers to provide expert advice on vendor products and deliver sales and support services in designated retail locations.
  • Travel to various customer sites to maintain product displays and ensure optimal service of vendor offerings.
  • Address customer inquiries and provide detailed responses to their questions.
  • Share information about new products and gather customer feedback regarding vendor services.

  • Effectively resolve customer complaints and discrepancies between customers and vendors.
  • Assist in executing sales, marketing, and promotional initiatives by educating accounts on the latest sales strategies.
  • Support the placement of special orders as needed.
  • Organize product displays according to merchandising plans.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Submit weekly reports detailing hours worked, locations visited, and sales impact.
  • Adhere to all AMS and customer policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Willingness to travel, including potential overnight stays.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours and days, including weekends, as required by business needs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication, presentation, writing, and technical skills.
  • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance that meets company standards.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service to both customers and vendors.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; a college degree is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, including overhead lifting as necessary.
  • Frequent standing, bending, and twisting are required.
  • Preferred experience includes 2 years in vendor sales and 1 year in field sales or customer service.
  • Bilingual skills, particularly in Spanish, are a plus.
