The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food processing and a proven track record of implementing quality control programs. You will work closely with production supervisors and hourly team members to ensure that our products are safe and of high quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality control programs to ensure compliance with USDA regulations and corporate guidelines.
  • Conduct internal audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Work with USDA personnel to resolve regulatory issues and maintain the micro-hold product program.
  • Provide leadership to QA technicians and ensure that they have the necessary training and resources to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Maintain quality-reporting systems and ensure that all team members are aware of their responsibilities regarding quality and food safety.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in food processing, preferably in a quality assurance role.
  • Knowledge of USDA regulations, HACCP, GMPs, and SSOPs is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
